At the Punk Hazard Shore: Buffalo and Baby 5 are encountering with General Franky! They initiate against Franky with "Sickle Girl", which is Baby 5 changed into Sickle and Buffalo spinning like no other. They manage to pierve General Franky's left arm extension.
Franky is unshaken about that. He plans to use the greatest secret weapon of Thousand Sunny that will conquer these seas one day: The "Gaon Cannon", his own version. Franky throws both Baby Five and Buffalo to air and shoots them with huge "General Cannon" skill which is a upgrade to Frankys own "Coup de vent". Baby 5 and Buffalo got some heavy damage!
Meanwhile, Luffy + the rest of mugiwara crew, Law and smoker + marines are approaching the end of tunnel which leads outside. Luffy, Usopp and Chopper are stunned because of Frankys new ultimate robot.
Usopp uses some water on his new slingshot weapon and it grows up: "Bakun Grass" into "Black Kabuto" which has some kind of carnivore-like thing at the end of it.
Nami uses "Weather egg" which makes huge thunder cloud come out. She strikes them down with weather science, "Thunder Breed" Tempo.
Baby 5 and Buffalo fall and now it's Usopp's turn: he uses "Killer Shooting Star Rush"
Interestingly enough Buffalo says that he got a mission from the Donquixote family which makes me wonder that who else belong to that family of Donquixote Doflamingo. Obviously enough Buffalo gets to eat some rocks and Cesar who tries to get away to Dressrosa gets his own dose of seastone handcuffs.
At the end of the chapter we see a shadow who "overslept" and wonders where he was going, but quickly realizes it: Punk hazard.
As expected, One Piece once again was easily the best on out of awaited "big three" after the break. We got to see good sides of General Franky, Usopp and Nami. I wasn't disappointed. What was really interesting is that Buffalo spoke about "Donquixote Family", which hopefully isn't a mistranslation. Very interesting to see who Donquixote is related to and why his family is considered so important. I think it may be related to the World Government.
This arc is nearing it's end and I have to say that it was an amazing arc. Fishman Island was a small disappointment, but Punk Hazard really had me in terms of enjoyment. I'll be waiting eagerly for all the new info what's happening around the world of One Piece which always happens between the arcs. These moments are my favorite.
Also the shadow on the sea: when I think about it the most obvious character who would do something like that is Aokiji. He has the means to sleep on top of the ocean and he generally likes to sleep. If he isn't Aokiji then I think it's someone we haven't seen yet. Speculation about this mysterious shadow here
In the One Piece Chapter 696 we may be finally seeing Donquixote Doflamingo finally arriving at Punk Hazard and if the character sleeping on the ocean is Aokiji it may be that they may clash. If not I expect something unexpected to happen ;)
