What a great chapter! First, the remaining Fanalis started a rampage which was brutal as hell. They just split the magician in half with their attacks. I was actually wondering the title of this chapter which is "The king of beasts" and thought that it would be referring to Mu Alexius, but I think it was a deception: It might have referred to Aladdin.
However it seems that there's a turn point of this war coming and it's name is Aladdin. With the training that he's got from the Magnostadt it seems that he's able to summon at least three Ugo -like Djinns(?) or something like that. I think that the power that Aladdin is using to summon these three giants is Solomon's wisdom with which he gives either form to the rukh around him or gives form to people that have lived, something like Djinns or like that. It would be awesome if they'd have been Solomon's personal guardians who'd be now in Aladdins service.
It's obvious that the magician training has made Aladdin a monster. I think that it's possible for this to be the whole series turning point: Aladdin was very powerful with Ugo, so now with his incredible magoi manipulation skills, combined with Solomon's wisdom and his magi powers they are on another scale.
Magi was interesting already before this twist, but now it's very interesting!
Recap of Magi 173: The King of Beasts
-Only a few members of the fanalis corps remain.
-Mu Alexius says to Rohroh and Muron that they have to finish "this" in one go.
-They call it the 7th type of magic, strength magic. They are able to attack projectiles which are invisible to the human eye.
-The shock waves from Barbatos' metal vessel are able to fly to far places. Mu Alexius swings and kills several magicians with a single swing.
-The Fanalis Mu Alexius, Rohroh and Muron obliterate magicians left and right, finally they head for the barrier.
-Suddenly a giant's hand sweeps them away and we see three giants looking like Ugo arising and walking with Aladdin. Aladdin's Solomon's wisdom mark is glowing.
