Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi 507: Takeda overpowering Lugh

Recap of HSDK Chapter 507: Shiba's hint

Takeda vs. Submission man Lugh fight continues: Takeda's mumbling something in front of a mirror. Lugh proceeds to catch Takedas arm, but hesitates. Takeda actually provokes him to catch the arm, for some reason.

Lugh doesn't waver from this and takes the arm and spins it back. He is certain that he destroyed Takedas left arm, but the arm quickly vanishes from his grip.

Takeda suddenly throws a Phantom Left Straight straight to Lugh's face with the same left arm that was "destroyed" a moment ago.

Lugh doesn't get why that happened, but he soon uses Ogata Zajuuori (Sitting Break) and the same thing happens: he was sure that he had gotten grip of Takeda, but was somehow mistaken.

Takeda can't hold it inside and blabbers the solution: he used the same application of ki as Lugh: what he though he gripped wasn't his left arm but the ki released by his left arm. And that is the reason why Lugh was so good at sensing other people's presence, now it's taken advantage of.

Shiba actually taught this Anti-weapon special technique, but Takeda only grasped of it just now.

Takeda proceeds to hit Lugh with Warp Punch (Temporary) and it's effective. It's power comes from "hitting through" the target, so that it surpasses the opponent's expectation. So the better Takedas opponent's sensor is the harder he will hit him.

Lugh says that he already came up with a counter only after being overpowered by Takeda.

Just at the end of the chapter outside the mirror house a someone's standing right beside them: it's Lugh's master, Isshinsai Ogata.

Comments

No particular comments for this, a decent chapter: I wonder what the Lugh's master's function in this equation is. I think that after Takeda beats Lugh he will just grab Lugh with him and go spank him or something.
