A great chapter, as I predicted Mu Alexius still had a trump card which was nothing short of an amazing one. The chapter this time was mostly a visual one, which did please me enough for this week, unfortunately it also means that there's really not much to talk about also.
So after a long time we finally get to see Alibaba and Aladdins reunion. It really wasn't a big surprise (actually it was expected) that Alibaba managed to master Amos' Djinn Equip to some extent himself. It will be great to see to what direction this series is going to go after Reim vs. Magnostadt war. I think that at this point the survival of Magnostadt seems pretty much obvious and if Reim doesn't have any more trump cards they'll have to retreat. I think that it's possible that there could be some kind of twists that would render my thoughts useless, but that's how twists usually are.
Recap of Magi Chapter 176: Barbatos
-Mu Alexius is going to go all out, he Djinn Equips Barbatos and shoots all the way to the Magnostadt.
-Rest of the troops of Reim army are going to try once again to attack Magnostadt now that Mu has used his Barbatos which makes his faster and stronger than anyone else for a minute at the risk of losing his life.
-Mu Alexius aims to destroy Aladdin, since he's the only one interrupting Reim's advance. He uses Bard Romh which hits Aladdin who manages to survive by concentrating his borg to the right places.
-Magnostadt sees a huge sword, which Mu Alexius with his last moments is generating
-He begins to hit with it but Alibaba comes in between Djinn Equipped with Amos and stops Mu Alexius / Barbatos
