This chapter was one of the boring ones: there was only an artistic approach showing Genos' hand prototype ugrape which was awesome by itself, but in span of one chapter essentially nothing happened.
What comes to the giant robot that passed Genos at the end of this chapter I believe it's just another hero who wants to prove himself by destroying the meteorite, but will most likely fail miserably. It would be suitable considering the flow of the manga so far.
One more thing that comes to mind is that it's the worst thing ever for this to be bi-weekly series. Even if I understand how much work goes into making such a great art, it's still a bit disappointing to have less than 39 chapters a year.
Recap of Onepunch-man 22 (or 24 as mangareader labels it):
-The meteor closing in is a disaster of "Dragon" level.
-People of Z-city are tying to evacuate
-Genos however is taking action, he's bouncing on top of the buildings holding a briefcase. He has some kind of prototype in it.
-He throws the briefcase onwards opening it and it turns out to be and hand prototype upgrade to Genos.
-He's determined to stop the metorite, but something passes him quickly: something that looks like a huge robot.
