Art of Legend of Tyr is pretty good, as you can see from the pictures that I've captured for this review. There are nice showcases of the places that they are adventuring which of course means some sceneries and that's what I like even more than necessary. Battles are flowing in a pretty good manner, but they could be better, I admit. Nothing wrong however there since it's still easy to follow.
Characters are somewhat a little bit weak part of Legend of Tyr since in my opinion the author failed a little bit with the side characters who journey beside the protagonist. I really didn't like the design of them and the value that they brought to the storie didn't amount to much. The main character itself is pretty generic one I could say, it was a somewhat safe bet from the author. The villains at least manage to be somewhat interesting and are undoubtly the best designed characters in the series.
I'm sure this sidekick is a minor villain from Trigun
Story of Legend of Tyr can be described as somewhat traditional adventure. It does everything well that is necessary for good adventure, but it really doesn't really excel at anything. One minus side appeared near the end of this manga: it reaches its conclusion pretty quickly and feels like mangaka had to end it really fast for some reason. However I couldn't shake the feeling that Legend of Tyr still managed to be worth my time spent on reading it.
