Super cool, funny and amazing One Piece gifs

Just for your pleasure: ENJOY these amazing pictures!

Enjoy, I know I did. Couple gifs from Shabondy Archipelago after timeskip, Monster/Zombie Luffy pounding Oz at Thriller Bark, Zoro pwning robot Kuma and Ace versus Blackbeard showdown: Sun against Darkness.

Monster Chopper utterly pwns this guy, can't even remember who he throws, but he's nontheless so cool

I also found a map of Grand Line which shows pretty well how first half of the story progressed. Enjoy.

I remember laughing so much to this. He was being unusually awesome and I honestly was expecting for him to land properly, how wrong I was.

Ugly. When one of the four emperors Big mam was introduced as a "foreshadow" in some of the earlier episodes / chapters I really tought "big" was referring mostly to her fatness or something like that. I'll be very interested to see more of her even though she isn't a pleasure to look at.

How the heck does he fly!?

I just happened to reread newest One Piece chapter and I just had to stop wonder couple of things:

1. Are those Doflamingos hands or feet?
2. How in the gods name does he fly?

I wish we'll be getting explanation to his powers in chapters to come. Such a great villain.

Hunter X Hunter and Kurapikas tragic past revealed

So Togashi actually surprised people with new content to Hunter X Hunter: unfortunately we didn't get continuation to the main story which was left into such a cliffhanger. I / we can only hope that Togashi will make a satisfying ending to the story eventually.

Anyways, Togashi rewarded his fans waiting by making couple of chapters tell more about Kurapicas past. Better than nothing I have to say!

Art quality to the max: Vinland Saga Review

Vinland Saga tells us a story of Thorfinn, son of Thors, who wants to go on an adventure. His father is a former hero of the vikings, but had abandoned his position to take care of his family. However, the vikings managed to find about his whereabouts and ordered him to fight for his country. Once he and other youngsters of the village have made their leave on the ship and are far away from the land it seems that young Thorfinn had snuck on board..

Vinland Saga is one of the rare mangas which have an unbelievable detailed art. It's such an enjoy to read something so detailed and well made that it immerses the reader inside the series. I myself am such a scenery junkie that whenever a series presents huge, beautiful and enjoyable sceneries they don't get past me unnoticed: this is where Vinland Saga exceeded my expectations, since when used right the beautiful places where the characters journey are a huge factor in my books.

Characters of Vinland saga are interesting enough. Main character is one of those that I've taken a liking over the years: whenever there's a main character that is essentially irritating then the series needs a lot more to go on. This however isn't the case with Vinland Saga, the characters portray very well the age of the Vikings and how they were at that time. It has a good main character and loads of amazing side characters which including Askeladd, one of my favorite twisted villain / good guy combinations.

The story was top notch for the first 50-60 chapters, but after mangaka Makoto Yukimura decided to begin "Farmland saga" quality of the story dropped tremendously. I understand that it's supposed to be historically accurate, but I know when I'm not intrigued enough. However it's still recommended to read everything that has come, since it's one of it's kind, a truly unique series in my opinion.  It does have it's bad side also: new chapter arrives monthly, which feels a bit too long gap, but it's understandable regarding the quality of the art.

Another recommendation: yamada-kun to 7-nin no majo

It's gone!! Maybe I have a soft spot for gender benders that I myself am not even aware of. Anyways Yamada-kun is pretty decent manga if one likes gender benders, maybe a little romance (not too much), decent plot and enjoyable humor.

The idea is that Yamada realizes accidentally that he can switch bodies with this girl Shiraishi by kissing. You can only imagine what kind of stuff this leads to.

Art of Yamada-kun is good and shows us the best sides of the characters usually with some ecchi, but not too much. There understandably isn't any action / battle scenes so the author isn't really challenged on that regard, but it's fine since that's not what I was looking for in this manga.

Characters are the second leading force of this manga. They are well thought and compliment each other very well with different kinds of contrasts. This series relies pretty much on Yamada and Shirahoshi following mostly things that they do, but the story does introduce more side characters which I don't find as interesting, but they still manage to do the job of entertaining the reader. The bad part is that the author hasn't really kept up with introducing interesting enough characters: sure the witches have been pretty interesting so far, but the other side characters have yet to impress me.

Story is very original in my opinion and keeps the reader hooked from the start. As one would expect this series is more of comedy and the chemistry between the characters, but it can't really be described as romantic series. It's a rather fresh story which still has a lot of ways to go: now it's up to the authors imagination to where he will spin this manga.

I recommend Toriko to everyone (Toriko Review)

I consider Toriko as one of the best continuing shonen series. It may even be third best (or maybe even second best!) in my list after One Piece and Fairy Tail. In comparison Bleach and Naruto have both fallen too much behind with recent plot development though I have to admit that both have been pretty enjoyable in the past.

Art is good, I'd say that it's almost at par with any other main stream manga and that means that it is enjoyable enough. Toriko however deserves a special mention with it's massive sceneries that use high scalability to it's advantage. It's always an amazing thing to see when great sceneries are shown.

The character designs of Toriko are definitely a good side, at its best excellent. However, I consider the main character one of the less interesting ones; side characters, monster and villains hold the place for interest in my opinion. That's not to say the main character Toriko is bad, he's good but not the main thing that appeals in this series.Of course when we are talking about characters we have to take in to consideration that it's a somewhat traditional battle shonen with a fresh idea, but the whole concept is basically the same. The author has managed to pull off interesting growth developments with the characters and has left a lot of room to grow for them.

Story is getting better and better the further you decide to read it. At first when I started reading this I was a bit reluctant because of the whole gourmet setup, but it ended up being a lot better than I could have ever imagined. Also the design of the world provides limitless possibilities in which only imagination is the 'limit'. It is true however that the story picks up a little bit slow and the first part of the series wasn't as good as the rest of the series, since the author apparently over-evaluated the "attractiveness" of GT-robos as enemies for the readers. Thankfully the author obviously learned from his mistakes and he started doing things in such manner that the story has continued to be enjoyable and intriguing for as many chapters as I remember.

The design of characters, villains and Gourmet World in general leaves Toriko with unlimited potential. This is why readers can't never predict what will happen next, but can trust that it will most likely be very enjoyable. That enjoyability comes mainly from the best story pacing of any manga, believe it or not. The pacing in Toriko is very swift, but doesn't leave anything out. We all know some mangas which too often leave us bored for several chapters because either the mangaka is unimaginative or wants to "build up" something, which too often manages to turn against itself.

If I have to say one quality that makes Toriko as good as One Piece is imaginative scenery. That being said Toriko, just like One Piece can be described only by superlatives. Both Oda and Shimabukuro use huge objects and scale to attract readers.

And I have to admit that I'm attracted.

What I don't completely understand is that why Toriko isn't getting as much attention as it could - maybe people aren't comfortable enough with the main theme: food? One reason could be that Toriko is a fairly new manga, at least compared to the ones going on for a decade.

Hiro Mashima offering a bit mild Erza fanservice

She looks fine though ;) This is the result of a gigantic explosion which destroyed the whole stadium. Fairy Tail is simply cool manga to read.
